Conscience vs Con-Sense

Conscience-keepers are the people who uphold the moral values, sense of right and wrong and justice.

These are the people who have depth of character and a grounded view of life.

Conscience-keepers are the people whom others look up to as leaders and GO-TO persons. In an organization, if one feels there is something going wrong or against the norms, they can go to the conscience-keepers with the firm conviction of finding support and help.

Conscience-keepers practice the high standards of conduct and inspire confidence in others to do so. They act as the moral backbone of an organization and help develop a culture of mutual trust and psychological safety.

They advocate positive human traits such as sincerity and compassion.

They are the true parent figures who encourage people to practice professionalism and also discourage unethical behaviour.

Conscience-keepers are the people of magnanimous stature and benevolent gravitas. They are stalwarts and pillars of the organization.

Conscience keepers are rare now.

They exists in memories of the past. With the changes in society, they became fewer and fewer. So have  people,  who sought them and their values.

Their diminution  led to the growth of a Pseudo-Conscientious breed of people who would do all that they could discourage sincere and well bred, well-meaning people. Such people are called Con-Sense Creepers.

Con-Sense Creepers, invest their time and energy into building a network of like minded people ready to connive and put up a show of lofty talking hiding their ulterior and mean intentions.

They combine their opinions and voices to falsify the truths and creating deceptions. They coalesce easily and creepy as they are, base their actions to usurp power and fame thru Con-ship.

Con-sense-creeper ;  the most pernicious, fecund and thriving cohorts of self-serving individuals hiding behind their feigned egos and masked cunningness.

They are charlatans and possessor of shallowest beliefs.

Con-Sense-creepers demonstrate  majoritarian decision making putting up a show of democracy. In this process they first gather likeminded people in their inner circle to pursue matters of share interest silencing any conscientious voice.

On one hand they do everything to promote the interest of their likes thru unethical methods and unfair means, on the other hand they systematically discourage and distance good intentioned people.  Con-Sense creepers would undermine the efforts, achievements and visibility of good intentioned people while exaggerating the achievements and visibility  of their likes.  When unchecked , They  plot against good people to drive them away and to establish impregnable circle of Yes-sayers which can reward people of their types and punish or sideline people who are not their types.

Con-Sense creepers are perfect liars behind their glib façade.  They threaten the people who are in lesser position and become overly charming and friendly to their authorities. It becomes difficult for the authorities to identify such chameleons and they consider them to be people basically  good at heart with some inexperience and immaturity.

Con-sense-creepers become extremely insecure in testing times. While they do not hesitate to put good people on spot or throw them under the bus,  for themselves, they may feign illness or injury as justifications to  anticipated unfavorable outcomes of a testing situation. When they are under pressure, they do not hesitate to expose  the unethical acts of their likes to save their skin.

Con-sense-creepers have grown desperately leaving no tenet, rule or ideals unbent.

The third category of people are By-Standers. These people have no particular principles or tenets in life of Conscience-Keepers and neither the  unsatiable greed and jealousy for self-advancement like Con-Sense-creepers.

We can call them, Conscience- Sleepers.

Conscience sleepers   keep their conscience in check to avoid undue struggle in life. They easily align with people on either side i.e. Conscience or Con-Sense. They selectively apply pragmatism and idealism and chose words or actions without being passionate about them.  They align with majority  in public and with minority  in private.

They do not let themselves be identified with any polars. They feed on both sides equally and thrive.

Look around you and find the people, patterns, plots and potpourri of politics of inevitable characterization. Most Conscience-keepers are seasoned and discerning and believe in the good side of the people. They suffer persecution for their beliefs and mercy too.  Most Con-sense Creepers are hardened and brazen. They pursue wrongdoing to a flashpoint often ending in upheavals. Most Conscience sleepers remain passive and gleefully ensconced in their noncommittal sub-human indifference.

Lets pray for all Conscience Keepers to grow stronger and stronger to lead humanity with humanity. They are rare gems in a decrepit society. May them all protect each other and save the world.

My Expressions – The New Normals

It is said that change is the only constant. It is also said

that with time everything changes…people, their needs, their behaviors and their
relationships. There are changes in societal norms, acceptable behaviors and
values. Almost everything undergoes change. These changes occur in our
surroundings sometimes in a gradual manner and sometimes in disruptive ways.

Changes whether gradual or disruptive influence us!! Our
personas, our lifestyles, our thinking, our unique ways of rationalizing and
finding a survivable balance between joy and sufferings of life…everything is
influenced.

The extent of influence on us is driven by our ability to
retain and let go. At any given point of time, we carry the traces of past and
future…A sense of deprivation and anticipation…and in the midst of this
chaos, we try to adjust ourselves to what is called “The New
Normal”.

Some of us are ahead on this curve of acceptance…. Some do
it no time and some people take forever…

In my life, I have seen many changes like anyone of us. I
keep ruminating about them from time to time in our daily conversations with
friends, colleagues and families. Today I thought, I will reflect on few of them
that occur to me rather more often than others…

In earlier times, it was generally believed and accepted
that a person working harder than others diligently and studiously and with good intent, would be able to gather skills and knowledge and (humility) to lead
(help) others grow. Then the changes swept in and there was sloganized push to
‘Work Smart’ instead of ‘Work Hard’. In-fact work hard at a point of time
became tantamount to being unimaginative and dumb and work smart at a point of
time became suggestive of not minding even being clever, self-serving and
cunning to achieve a position. Now in the new normal, both work hard and work
smart have lost relevance and the new normal is to work in “Network”.
Networking implies a quid-pro-quo understanding between two people to share and
exchange favors. There are networking slots especially organised during any
major event where there are a few busybodies who keep sprinting from one person
of importance to other.

In the new normal, person with a big network of people
is considered more accomplished even though the person may individually possess
lesser virtues or qualities.

Likewise, in earlier times, a Leader in any sphere of life
used to be an Inspiration in a certain field. It was understood that the
elevation to the position of leader would mean that the person carried both
knowledge and experience of a certain field and the breadth and depth of it
would lead others to align and manifest their potential in the best possible
ways. In certain fields where the subject knowledge was not central, the leader
would demonstrate a superlative conduct or depth of perspective that would elevate
the spirit of masses to look up to that person and emulate. With time, the
changed perspective provided a new outlook to the leader – It was that of
becoming a person who is able to collaborate successfully with many and is able
to remain accepted by many. In this new framework Students started rating
teachers, contestants started rating judges, Team members started rating their
leaders and, in many cases, children started rating their parents.

In the new Normal, a leader in many many situations is
seen to be becoming a person who is able to adjust excellence to team’s
average, thrive on majoritarian views and build a team that can support a majoritarian
illusion.

As a child I learned that written word had immense value.
People were warned of giving it a good thought before providing anything in writing
to someone. Writing was characterized by Handwriting and the Signatures
endorsing it. For legal matters, the written document was further vetted
by a judicial notary. With time and technology, it became possible to duplicate
documents, so photographs and video became the source of dependable truth. For
many years, a photograph of an event, a video of a person would have sufficed
to be the key evidence. Technology continued to advance and soon every person
started carrying a printing press on palm. This printing press or the new
“Mobile Phone” could take Photo graphs, Documents and Videos and had all
the applications available to morph them. In earlier times a publishing
something in a newspaper or social publication would require tremendous responsibility
of researching the facts which meant that a published word was completely
reliable and believable. With the advent of technologies, contents became rife
over the myriad social platforms without a shred of credibility.

In the new Normal there is no concept of credible content.
It is difficult to differentiate between Truth, Fake and Deep Fakes.

As a child I was told to practice hard as practice makes
some one perfect. It is because by practicing  the same musical notes every
day  – a musician became adept at it to an extent where the symphony was
perfect to play out, by practicing the same sports every day , the athlete
would reach to a point where they would perform flawlessly, It is because by
climbing the same stairs every day, a person could climb the stairs even with
closed eyes…All these were so because practicing a certain act led all mental
and  physical faculties of a person to programmatically connect and
orchestrate. All these examples accentuate the power of experience. In
corporate world, a successful negotiator would know exactly where to pull and
where to push to win the deal, because that person has the experience of having
gone thru that situation many times in past and also its various nuances. As
the time changed, there was a sloganized push out to Experience by calling it a
liability. Experience became less important as the cost of hiring an experience
person was shown to offset the loss of errors made by less experienced people.
With time, we started seeing more and more leaders in different walks of life
belonging to the very younger age groups and obviously with lesser depth of experience
as statesman, corporate heads and celebrities. We also started seeing larger
nos. of institutional failures, governance breakdowns and corporate
collapses.

In the new Normal Doing it Right First Time is replaced
with “Experiment to Fail’ at scale.

In my younger days, I used to have a secret diary where I
would write my most personal thoughts and reflections and so did many of us. I
remember those friendly fisticuffs between brothers and sisters, or two friends
or husband and wife upon finding someone’s personal diary and one person trying
to read it and second person trying to snatch it back before the first could
read even a single word. What were those secrets and where are they gone now!!
Now a days we communicate more on social groups than in personal chats, we don’t
whisper in each other’s ears but message it knowing that the serve storing that
message could be accessible to some hacker or bad actor. Our devices are
tracking the sites we surf, the keys we click, the roads we turn, the words we
speak, the medicines we take and the food we eat. The world is no longer having
any space that is private.

In the new Normal, we have developed a shell of
indifference to our secrets being visible and known to a no. of people who are
unknown to us. It does not bother us anymore. There are no fisticuffs for
protecting the personal space. No more. There is only stoicism left…stoicism
that craves for Thumbs ups, Hearts and Raise Hands 24X7.

The list of new Normal would go on as we see more far-reaching
changes coming our way. Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Space colonies and what
not…Moment by Moment, Day by Day, We will keep changing our habits and I
wonder very deeply what will become of us in the end..

If you too have reminiscence of something that has changed
unrecognizably over these many years, please do share in comments .. Lets help each other not forget of what we were..

My Expresseions : A Tribute to the Mentor

A Tribute to the Mentor
“Let us give something to each person we meet: joy, courage, hope, assurance, or philosophy, wisdom, a vision for the future. Let us always give something.”

These words echo in my entire being, These words and many more such inspirational tenets of life from a person whom I embraced as my mentor more than 15 years ago. The leader of one of the largest Buddhist order worldwide with more than 12M followers in 192 countries, Dr. Daisaku Ikeda lived his entire life true to the teachings and ideals of Buddhism.
Dr. Ikeda was born on Jan 2nd, 1928, in Tokyo, in a family of seaweed farmers. As a child, he was diagnosed with chronic tuberculosis and doctors told that he would not live beyond 30. “What sickness can therefore be an obstacle”...he proclaimed and went on to create trailblazing journey of transforming millions of lives enabling people discover their true potential as human being and achive victories. Dr. Daisaku Ikeda, passed away on November 15, 2023 at the age of 95. We call him Sensei which means mentor or teacher in Japanese.

Until I encountered his teachings, spirituality to me meant believing in ‘God’ and ‘Goodness’. I was still puzzled as to where to find both. Sensei taught us both were within us. Sensei taught us about a new dimension of spirituality – called “Faith in Daily Life”. Faith which would make you find peace not in meditating alone but staying amidst the topsy-turvy of daily life and challenging something…Something within..

Sensei taught us the philosophy of “Oneness of Self and Environment” and to me it was like a whole life decoded into easily understandable principals to be imbibed and practiced in our daily conduct as ordinary human being to manifest the extraordinary potential inherent in our lives equally.

Sensei came from an ordinary family; he acquired his education working thru the day and studying thru the night at night schools. He was at one time earning his livelihood working as a newspaper hawker; He determined of having a publication of their own newspaper one day. Sensei one day waiting at a university with his mentor; dreamt of establishing universities one day where humanism could be cultivated among students, He dreamt of becoming an author, and once when a top politician cancelled the visit to be the chief guest of a large gathering of youth at the last minute, he determined to develop leader in all walks of life who valued “Treasures of the Heart”.

His perseverance made him an author of more than 250 books. Sensei received more than 200 honorary degrees, as well as numerous international honours, including the United Nations Peace Medal (1983), the International Tolerance Award from the Simon Wiesenthal Centre (1993), the Rosa Parks Humanitarian Award (2008), and the Gandhi International Peace Prize for Social Responsibility (2014). He fulfilled his dreams of establishing Soka universities and schools and also kindergartens in five countries,
Mr. Ikeda took over the leadership of Soka Gakkai, the largest lay Buddhist organization at the age of 32. He travelled to more than 50 countries and met Heads of States, Academicians, Artists, Authors and other prominent leaders of society to promote peace, culture and education. Sensei has presented Peace proposals to UN every year since 1983.
Ikeda Sensei taught us “Never to get defeated” and take challenges as peaceful practices, practice humanism, change poison into medicine, smile to our parents, encourage the person in front of us and cherish every individual.
Sensei taught us not to be dogmatic, fanatical or ritualistic but to win with compassion, reason and observation of one’s own mind.
And like Sensei used to quote Victor Hugo “We are all under sentence of death, but with a sort of indefinite reprieve.” Let’s take every moment of our life as the last moment and put all our best in it.
In his words, “When we change, the world changes. The key to all change is in our inner transformation- a change of our hearts and minds. This is human revolution. We all have the power to change. When we realize this truth, we can bring forth that power anywhere, anytime, and in any situation.”
Adieu Sensei, we shall always hold you in our hearts. Forever Sensei..
with profound gratitude
Manish “Pakhi”

My Expressions : Soft violence

Soft violence

A slap, a punch,  or a  fisticuff is not a common site among educated people. However education does not necessarily inculcate a sense of poise and respect in all for others. The surge of inner rage in people manifest itself in the form of soft violence.  This soft violence carried out in subtle manner hurt the other person even more than the physical violence. Some such instances of soft violence commonly seen are :

1. Ignoring one’s presence selectively.
2. Not greeting a person selectively.
3. Not inviting someone while all else are invited.
4. Giving dull, subdued and discouraging response to one’s greetings.
5. Refusing someone’s invitation  with discourtsey.
6. Discussing financial gains loudly in front of a relatively less well off person.
7. Not answering one’s call or message despite being well known and related.
8. Talking over and keep talking without giving chance to other person to speak.
9. Discouraging a talented or capable person by impeding his/ her progress selectively.

Especially with elderly and senior people, soft violence is seen being committed by younger ones in following all so many ways:

1. Giving orders to them.
2. Making them / seeing them doing chores without the keenness to help or takeover from them.
3. Asking them to pick up articles to carry while traveling particularly and otherwise too.
4. Disappearing from the scene under some pretext at the time of work.
5. Showing  leisure or entertainment time to be more important than their even serious work.
6. Not asking their well being or truly taking full responsibility of their well being.
7. Leaving behind work for them and thus exploiting their orderliness to get things done.
8. Asking them for money instead of supporting them.
9. Not offering them food first.
10. Not leaving seat for them rather taking it keeping them standing.
11. Not giving passage to them first.
12. Belittling their age and physical limitations.
13. Talking to people elder in age in a mockingly patronizing manner.

Soft violence against children may take the following forms:

1. Showing them down repeatedly for their mistakes.
2. Not giving credit to them for their accomplishments or talents.
3. Comparing them with other children.
4. Dampening their enthusiasm with cold responses.
5. Depriving them of the love, care and protective guidance.
6. Keep rebuking them for trivial matters.
7. Imposing choices upon them all the time.

Soft violence leaves scars deep in the psyche. Soft violence is unknowingly and inadvertently committed.

Watch out!! Do you commit soft violence too.

My Expressions : Uncertainty

Uncertainty
One of the things we need to cope in life with, is uncertainty. Uncertainty implies possibility of materialization of any of the favorable or unfavorable outcomes that exist for a given a situation. Since each such outcome has a corresponding impact on our life in a favorable or unfavorable manner,  uncertainty leads many of us to anxiety.
The law of entropy pulls everything in the direction of disorder. Hence, to keep things in order we have to make effort which in turn means we spend energy to make the outcome favorable for us. The moment we decide on one outcome as our goal, the remaining possibilities become the part of disorder with respect to the chosen goal. The law of entropy applies and the shift towards disorder starts in a natural universal manner. This shifts makes the possibility of materialization of any of the undesired outcomes stronger.
This phenomenon is universal, spontaneous and inevitable.
It is therefore futile to wish that the universal law of increasing entropy shall not operate on our given situation and  things shall remain perfect in equilibrium endlessly without making any efforts. Infact, the moment we decide upon a goal, we need to apply energy and effort to keep the entropy shift towards the disorderliness at bay. The more exclusive the goal, the greater is the entropy and hence greater is the  effort required to hold on to the desired outcome.
It is choices between order and disorder. There are some who accept  disorder in their own lives and in their surroundings. Such people remain victims of uncertainty with a deep complacent sense of unawareness and unknowing. They find certainty in the uncertainty itself with ever shifting goals and endless adjustments without ever creating any value. Typically, such people are characterized by a sense of amazement with the disorderliness of change.
There are others who choose order. They give there energy in maintaing balance, equilibrium and stability to a framework that sustains a goal, a value, a purpose or a mission. They exert themselves to constantly challenge the disorder. In the process they create value. They drive change to synthesize by putting in energy and efforts rather than becoming a casual observer of a disintegrating shift – entropy.
If we understand this principal, it becomes clear to us as to why there is hard work, effort, energy, exertion, endurance, challenge and perseverance required to achieve something of substance and sustain it.
It is the force of universal entropy and our enthalpy that govern our thermodynamics – the heat maps and energy shifts.
Entropy : an annihilating undercurrent, an unseen reality and an awareness so thoroughly skipped by most of us!!

My Expressions : Arrogance

Arrogance
Arrogant
 US  /ˈær·ə·ɡənt/
proud in
an unpleasant way and behaving as if you are better or
more important than other people
———————————————————————————————————————
To begin with, a few quotes on arrogance…..
“Arrogance is a self-defense tactic to disguise insecurities.”
CAROLL MICHELS, How to Survive and Prosper as an Artist
“Arrogance is a veneer — a thin covering of excuses hiding deep performance deficiencies.”
BOB LEWIS, “The Seven Deadly Sins of Information
Systems”, InfoWorld, Apr. 20, 1998
“The arrogance of some people makes even their virtues appear vices.”
BOUHOURS, attributed, Day’s Collacon
“Because arrogance is born in personal vanity, arrogant people are driven without mercy. They can never get enough power to fill the soul’s needs or enough respect to overcome the fear that they deserve less than they are getting.”
LEWIS B. SMEDES, Love Within Limits
Arrogance is the mask  for  lack of virtues . Virtuous people have humility, sincerity and respect for others. Arrogant people are easily identified by the following display of behavior:

-They try to throw an larger than life image .
– They make a false show of knowledge.
– They claim the good results for themselves and dump bad results on others.
– Their way of talking is patronizing, even to their seniors or elders.
They are found busy talking about their little achievements in a big way  everywhere.
– They disrespect others but wants respect for themselves.
-They project their connection to big names.
-They reject good suggestions just because it conflicts with their ego.
-They bring down the performance of a team.
– They try to embarrass  people  by crossing boundaries of permissible behavior.
They try to bring your  reputation down in a wicked and wretched manner if you resist bullying.
–  They are constantly looking for audience.
Most of them boss over their parents because parents are loving and caring.
They always find someone to do their job.

–   They do not take responsibility but  pretend to do so and claim so even louder.
Intrinsically, arrogant people are very insecure from inside and this insecurity drives their behavior to be so extreme as to be the center of their attention themselves.
Most arrogant people try to hide behind moral high grounds. Their lack of humility is appalling.
Humans need to grow intellectually.
Arrogance is the sign of intellectual bankruptcy!!

My Expressions – Greed

      Greed
Greed
Intense and selfish desire for something, especially wealth, power, or food. ( Dictionary meaning)
Intense and selfish is what characterize this fundamental darkness inherent in all sentient beings. Greed is usurping the rights of others for self and crave for seizing more and more.
A person possessed by greed wants to grab everything for himself. Have you ever noticed a host inviting you for a sumptuous dinner and while serving you keeping the best portions of food for himself. Have you ever seen someone while posing for a group photograph along with others taking a over proportioned centerstage for oneself. Have you ever seen someone in a public transport not relinquishing his seat for an elderly person standing. All these example emanate from the underlying tendency of greed which undermines the propriety an occasion demands.
On a larger scale, greed becomes a collective phenomenon where organizations, societies and even States demonstrate a iniquitous behavior. States with the ambitions of expanding their territorial boundaries, societies with a huge rich poor divide and organizations with obsessive compulsions for rapid growth are all examples of manifestations of underlying greed.
Greed is overdoing. It is an antithesis of sacrifice and sharing. People who share and sacrifice are richer in heart with a fulfilled and contented life state while people possessed by greed are never satiated and remain restless to acquire more.
Greed consumes a person from with in and insidiously make a hollow inside. The more you put in this hollow, it enlarges to consume even more.
Some very fine and talented people were ruined as they could not control their greed. Moderation in every act is the key to keep greed under check.
Middle way is the answer. It’s about neither swinging to the morbid extreme of self denial and not falling into the pit of greed.
It is about living a balanced life where sharing gives us joy and enrichment.
This is what I heard!!

My Expressions – Envy

Envy
Envy – a feeling of discontented or resentful longing aroused by someone else’s possessions, qualities, or luck.
The dictionary meaning can hardly convey the destructive power of this feeling. A power that can completely possess one’s mind and make him blind to logic and propriety. People possessed with envy do anything to bring other fellow down. They can do the following:
1. Stop greeting you.
2. Spread rumours about you.
3. Showing special liking for things you do not like.
4. Talking big in your presence.
5. Refuse your gifts or offerings.
6. Ignore your good gestures.
7. Praise someone you don’t like in your presence.
8. Not giving you your credit.
9. Giving someone undue importance in your presence.
10. Keeping distance from you.
11. Bad mouthing about you behind your back.
12. Trying to size up with you by pulling you down instead of elevating themselves.
13. Showing endearment to your kids and elders and subtly possess their mind with sweet talk.
14. Leaving you out of important communication.
15. Doing opposite of what you suggest.
16. Deliberately spoil your show.
17. Giving you petty gifts.
18. Not including you in conversation, groups etc.
19. Keeping a close watch on who admires you and trying to alienate him immediately.
20. Mimic every action that you take for self improvement.
Etc.
For people possessed with envy, your defeat is more important than their loss. The seeds of envy sprout in one’s very close environment; family, extended family, close relations, close friends and colleagues. The actions of envious people are aimed at getting a artificial high and a wicked sense of power. Envy can go to any extent and cause unimaginable harm. It can cause irreversible rifts, ruin lives, destroy value and deface goodness.
Be aware and check if you are facing any of the above behaviours repeatedly from same person. If so, the relationship is toxic and need to be handled with understanding, composure and compassion albeit from a distance. Nothing can Pierce thru the dark clouds of envy except sincere prayers.
Pray hard to unshackle the chains of fundamental darkness…
Pray..

My Expressions : Back – Bites & stabs

BACK – BITES & STABS

Malicious talk, spiteful talk, slander, libel, defamation, abuse, character assassination, scandal, Mongering, disparagement, denigration, vilification, vituperation, calumny, revilement..

There are so many synonyms for the grand act of liberal and unrestrained smearing of false concoctions on somebody ‘s  character with the sole aim of denigrating him and feeling a high which
otherwise would be impossible to achieve thru fair means.

I could find some very interesting quotations from different personalities  aptly describing the phenomenon and ways to cope.

“Don’t destroy yourself by allowing negative people add gibberish and debris to your character, reputation, and aspirations. Keep all dreams alive but discreet, so that those with unhealthy tongues won’t have any other option than to infest themselves with their own diseases.”
–  Michael Bassey Johnson, The Infinity Sign

“Many times, you are the single most significant and glorious thing that has ever happened in the lives of some people; they sit around and talk about you over and over again throughout the years while you are out there living your life, every step that you

take and every kiss that you make having absolutely nothing to do with them, at
all!”

― C. JoyBell C.

“Bewarned: A person content to sit with you and criticize others will of you out of earshot.” ― Richelle E. Goodrich,Smile Anyway

“The mission or ministry of backbiters is to bite you at the back. When they
backbite you, move forward. If you turn back to talk back or fight them, youdescend to their low class.”

― Ifeanyi Enoch Onuoha

“Don’t be too fast to highlight the weaknesses ofother people. That is the quickest way of exposing your own weaknesses.”

― Israelmore Ayivor, Daily Drive 365

The difference between Back biter and back stabber is that of word and deed. Intent is samei.e. sizing up by pulling down. Instead of pulling one self up.

There have been some really talented backbiters & back stabbers who kept undoing my efforts and reducing them, to zero with unmatched craftiness & zeal. Initially I used to be very disturbed finding myself being misunderstood and misrepresented due to their untiring efforts. Over a period of time I realised that they needed a compassionate view because these people had a) given up on themselves   b) accepted defeat &  c) lived in artificial & wretched self-pomposity.

Back biters create a communication gap such that the clarifications and verification are ruled out. They are capable of poisoning the minds of people about a person in such a manner that people do not even approach the person concerned and are distanced. Backbiters are also always on watch to make use of every possible opportunity to build their propaganda.

The damage they do is unfathomable, Unbearable and unpardonable. Yet mercy upon them as there is no other way to wish them THEIR BEST!!!

My expressions : The Real Self

The Real Self
We are an entity, identity, being  or we are a process, a phenomenon, a transience, manifesting the illusion of a macro appearance. We could also be an entity experiencing the phenomenon of manifestation of a higher entity which is contained with in all of us. It is intriguing to imagine that we are a part of the whole containing whole. It is surely intriguing to imagine that there could be the world with infinite continuum without beginning or end.We are so deeply conditioned to perceive in terms of duals for example  good or bad, light or dark, short or tall, calm or angry, good or evil etc.  that to imagine a continuum plane is beyond imagination. In my childhood, I used to wonder if the difference between a line with two distinct ends and a circle with no ends was a simple example of this nonduality. The second example for understanding was Mobius belt which had no beginning or end. Then came the doctrine of Middle way which was suggested to be a third possibility between the two duals. This Middle Path was not an average or man of the two extremes but a third direction which had a logical continuum representing Equilibrium.

The confluence of two extremes created Life in the form an Entity… Duals finding expression in the equilibrium and sustaining the miracle of manifestation of nondual in macro form. A circle unfolding as a line , a Mobius uncoiling, a spiral collapsing into nothingness. This manifestation , creation, synthesis, on one hand, had the biology of cellular Proteins, DNAs, RNAs, etc. and the other hand had a subtle energy called life state. A life state is neither a feeling nor an emotion. It is a subtle expression ; let’s say ” Intention” .. having deeper motivations and impressions of  the interplay of destiny and free will.
A life state thus had an evolution of myriad possibilities into the synthesis of a moment of life intricately connecting space and time. Awareness of this connection empowers us to manifest our real self, a self free of duals, boundaries, and limitations. Real Self is the Universal rhythm pulsing in our eternal existence and nonexistence.
While we shall understand in forthcoming posts about how the so convoluted subject can be easily understood and imbibed in daily life, suffice to say for the time being that Life is a Miracle and we are the observer of this Miracle learning from every single moment.
There are some starting points  to observe in the journey to discover Real self. These starting points are  Gratitude, Compassion,  Respect and above all FAITH  . We observe our mind start this journey to manifest gratitude, Compassion, and Respect in our actions and deeds.
